Lollapalooza will hit the Windy City in late July.  One-day tickets are available now on the Lollapalooza website.  Some bands appearing at this year's festival include the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, Jane's Addiction, Foals, The Struts, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Wolf Alice, Nothing But Thieves, X Ambassadors and Silversun Pickups.

This year's festival will run from July 28-31 in Chicago's Grant Park. When I attended Lollapalooza back in 2007 and 2009, the festival was only three days. But, as their website states, "in celebration of 25 years as a world-renowned music festival, Lollapalooza is excited to announce an additional full day of music..."

4-day passes sold out quickly, and I'm guessing you'll need to act quickly to score a one-day pass.  I went to the three full days in '07 and barely survived... it's truly an endurance test to be on your feet in the summer sun for that long.  In '09, I only attended the day that Tool was headlining.  Here's a video of one of my favorite Lollapalooza moments that I happened to be in attendance for...
