The city of Cedar Rapids issued another warning for residents who still have sandbags from last year's flood. They need to be put out at curbside for pickup no later than January 30th or there will be a fine.

Around 130 homeowners within the flood zone still, have sandbags in use. They all received letters from the city this week. They've been asked to put their sandbags out at the curb by the deadline so they can all be picked up in February. Miss the date? You'll be looking at a fine. The city said if you are in need of help moving the sandbags, they are working with local organizations to provide that help.

Officials haven't decided on the amount of the possible fine.
