Cedar Rapids Bomb Scare

CBS News is reporting a suspicious package near downtown Cedar Rapids that the police bomb squad is investigating.

Not much else is known at this time but downtown traffic may be diverted at any moment in case of an emergency. The device was noticed in the 600 block of 1st Avenue and cops are on the scene now

As a precaution anyone traveling into the downtown area may want to stay tuned for more information before attempting to venture into the area mentioned above.
