My thoughts are definitely with the employees of a Cedar Rapids bank that has been targeted by bank robbers for the second time in less than two weeks.  It was Wednesday, June 25th at 10:10am that a call went into the Cedar Rapids Police Department of a bank robbery at the Guaranty Bank at 191 Jacolyn Drive Northwest in Cedar Rapids.

Today, just 12 days later, and two minutes later in the morning, another call to the Cedar Rapids Police of a robbery at the very same bank.  And for the second consecutive time, it was an armed robbery.  Here's what we know:

A male between 5'10" and 6' tall and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds entered the bank, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash.  He then left the bank on foot, with no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a white male with dark skin or a black male with light skin.  He was wearing a dark blue button-up polo that had white pinstripes.  He was also wearing blue jeans and a black cap with white and gray on it, with an approximate one-inch red border.

If you were in the area of time of the robbery or have any information concerning it, we encourage you to contact the Cedar Rapids Police at (319) 286-5491.
