Only in Your State compiled a list of the cheapest cities in Iowa to live in. You might be surprised by who's number 1.

Our very own City of Five Seasons, Cedar Rapids tops the list based on such factors as,

a high concentration of public libraries, museums and parks, it has a below-average cost of living.

The site calculates the city's average housing cost at $44,000 below the national average.

Other cities rounding out the top 5 were Oskaloosa, Decorah, Shenendoah and Ankeny. You can see the whole Top 11 HERE.

It's certainly more evidence against the common complaint "there's nothing to do in Cedar Rapids", but do you agree with the findings? Is your cost of living as cheap as they claim? Let us know in the comments.
