If you plan to drink on Halloween, you might want to take an Uber ride home. According to the Gazette, "The Cedar Rapids Police Department is taking part in the Iowa Governor's Traffic Safety Bureau Halloween traffic enforcement project."

This means there will be even more officers on the street looking for drunk drivers. It's never a good day to drink and drive, but Halloween is probably the worst day to commit this kind of crime. There will be tons of kids going door to door and walking through neighborhoods. Let's not put their lives in danger because you've had one too many alcoholic beverages.

The enforcement project will start this Friday and continue through Halloween. If you plan to drink, don't drive. It's really that simple.
