Cats Beat Hawks 38-31

Iowa's time as the top dog in the Big Ten West was short lived. The Hawkeyes suffered a 38-31 home loss on Saturday to Northwestern.

The Hawkeyes weren't supposed to lose this game. We weren't supposed to lose to North Dakota State, either. The team is now 3-2 and it's no fun.

I was at the game Saturday. I snapped 5 photos from behind the scenes.

It Rained
The Meteorologists got this one wrong. If you didn't have a rain poncho, you were in trouble. The odds makers were wrong too. They listed Iowa as a 12.5 favorite. Ugh.

The Food Was Great!
The tailgate party I visited had burgers, brats and beer. That's really all you need. It was perfect. Thanks for the brews Bent Garrett!

The Fans Were Loud
We have the best fans in the country. Despite the loss, the stadium was louder then ever. I stood by the students. It was like being a keg party...without the keg.

The Big Screen
My friends work in the control room for the big screen at Kinnick. It's fun to watch them work. They never get a break, but it looks like they are having fun. You have a great crew Jim Berg!

The Pic Says It All
The players were stunned....we were all stunned! This was the team that won every regular season game last year. What the heck is going on?!?!
All we can do it prepare for next weeks game against Minnesota! We will preview the match up this week on The KRNA Morning Show. GO HAWKS!
