Breaking News: Iowa Cop Killer on Loose

Two Des Moines area police officers have been shot and killed by an attacker early this morning.

The killer is still on the loose.  

The shootings occurred in the Des Moines area in two separate incidents a couple of miles apart while both officers were sitting in their patrol cars. 

 CBS 2 News reports that officers responded to a report of shots fired at about 1:06 a.m. and found an Urbandale Police Department officer who had been shot.
