The Cedar Rapids Police Department arrested three suspects for their involvement in an armed robbery of Big Discount Liquor, 5427 Center Point Road NE, shortly after 9 p.m. on Tuesday evening. One of the suspects is named Jack Daniels. Sometimes the stars align.

Here's the story from the CRPD: Two subjects entered the liquor store with guns, demanded money, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported inside the business.

Witnesses were able to provide a description of the suspects and the suspect vehicle involved in the robbery, and a pursuit ensued. Officers momentarily lost visual of the suspect vehicle during the pursuit, but the vehicle was relocated in the 1800 block alley between 2nd and 3rd Avenue SE. No one was in the vehicle at the time; however Police Officers found two individuals matching the description of the robbery suspects in the 1800 block of 2nd Avenue SE. Both subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Police Station for questioning.

During the investigation, a third suspect was identified, located and apprehended on the southeast side of Cedar Rapids.

As a result of the investigation, all three suspects have been charged with Robbery-1St Degree, which is a Class B felony.

Suspects charged in the robbery include:
· Robert Larry Ray Barlow, Joshua M. Sandlin, and Jack Daniels Yoders.

All three suspects were arrested and transported to the Linn County Jail.

No mention of whether or not they made the heist with vodka in tow.
