Blur have unveiled the third single and lead track from their upcoming album, The Magic Whip. “Lonesome Street’” -- which you can hear in the video up above -- will be the last glimpse the band gives fans before their comeback LP arrives on April 27 via Warner Bros.

The Magic Whip is Blur’s eighth album in all and their first in the 12 years that have passed since the band’s hiatus following their 2003 full-length, Think Tank. “Lonesome Street” certainly sounds like a throwback to the height of Blur’s Britpop output circa their terrific 1994 breakthrough, Parklife.

“Lonesome Street” follows the previously released Magic Whip singles, “Go Out” and “There Are Too Many of Us.”

After sharing a brief clip from their rehearsals, Blur made a return to the stage, playing their forthcoming album front to back at a secret show at West London’s Mode. The Damon Albarn-led outfit is also slated to perform in Hyde Park for the British Summer Time Hyde Park on June 20.
