Blitzen Trapper will be going back out on the road this fall. Today (July 5), they revealed the schedule for a three-week tour of the U.S. that continues their support of last year's All Across This Land, albeit with a twist.

The '70s-influenced country-rock band from Portland, Ore., are calling this tour "Songbook: A Night of Stories & Songs," which a press release calls a "stripped-down acoustic experience" in which they will be "telling stories and sharing the inspirations behind some of their most beloved songs, including those from their favorite songwriters and influences."

Dates will commence Sept. 14 at the State Room in Salt Lake City, Utah. From there, they will head towards the East Coast, which they will reach by the end of the month. Then, they will go back west and conclude at Club Dada on Oct. 9. The complete itinerary can be found below.

Back in May, they contributed a new song, "Summer Rain," to Amazon Music's Songs of Summer playlist. "It's remembering hot summers when the rains were a relief, memories from childhood mostly when the days were long and full of adventure," frontman Eric Earley tells Rolling Stone. You can stream the track below.

Later this year, they plan to release a live album that they recorded direct-to-acetate at Jack White's Third Man Records in Nashville this past March.
