If you've ever been to an Iowa Football home game, you know the giant video board in the south end zone is a HUGE part of the game. If you ask me, it really adds to the home field advantage for the Hawks and the fans really love it!

The crew that works behind the scenes is known as HawkVision. The team is led by Jim Berg, a television professional that's been working in the industry for over 30 years. Jim is in charge of staffing, maintenance, production, directing and a laundry list of other duties.

Jim can't do all of the work alone. He has crew members running camera, producing content, loading graphics, shading video, running replay machines and a handful of other jobs. It's a solid team that's been together for a very long time.

One of the coolest parts of the show is when Iowa comes out of the tunnel right before the game. A few years ago, Jim added a camera outside the locker room. That camera, operated by Dave Sibert, follows the team out on the field.

Crew member Jason Armstrong hits the magic button and AC/DC's "Back in Black" blairs from the stadium speakers. If you've been to a game, you know this is one of the coolest college football traditions and it's a great way to get the fans excited before kick-off!

We've seen it from the stadium, now let's take a behind the scenes look at the "Iowa Swarm," brought you by HawkVision:

If that doesn't get you ready for an Iowa Football game, I don't know what will! Hats off to the crew of HawkVision for bringing you the sights and sounds at every Iowa home game.

And I want to thank the crew for allowing me inside for this sneak preview. You guys are the best, keep up the great work and GO HAWKS!
