Beer Tour at Parlor City Kicks off with Deschutes
Well, schute! That was good! My KRNA Beer Tour stop at Parlor City Friday was all about Deschutes Beer. Made deliciously in Bend, OR, this beer was under the microscope with a couple of Johnson Brothers reps. Adam and Jaime work for that company and were the experts during my live broadcast.
We put PInedrops on special and the PC’ers loved it. This brew is inspired by the brewers out in Bend who named it after the pine forest aromas near their building. Yeah, there’s some stunning scenery out that way. Nothing better than an ice cold beer to enjoy while taking it all in.
While my co-worker Brian and I didn’t have anything off the “non-beer menu,” rumor has it a Philly Cheesesteak is one of the best food accompaniments to the Pinedrop. Simply put, put it on your list for Summer 2015 sampling.
