Be A Star With The Cedar Rapids Kernels!

Hey everybody! Jaymz Larson here again, this time with your chance to land a cool, part-time job with a great organization. If you've ever dreamed of working in sports, this is your chance!

The Cedar Rapids Kernels are looking to add a few fresh faces to their team. This Saturday, March 4th, there will be an open audition for the On Field Host Position and Public Address Announcer for the 2017 season.

If you are interested, arrive this Saturday by 10:45 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids. The auditions will start at 11:00 a.m. Both positions require an outgoing, enthusiastic and energetic person that is comfortable with a microphone. Don't be nervous,.....this will be fun!

I've been a Kernels On Field Host the last three years and I LOVE it. Not only do I get paid to watch baseball games, but I've met some great people and had a lot of fun along the way.

I'll be at the Veterans Memorial Stadium tomorrow morning to answer any questions that you may have. The plan is to have a stable of several people for each position. Baseball is a LONG season, so it's nice to have a small group of people that can rotate each game.

I'll hope to see you tomorrow at the ballpark!
