A new trailer for Assassin's Creed Unity has hit the internet just in time for Bastille Day, and the French Revolution never looked so good.

As the new assassin Arno speaks, we see plenty of action in and around the French Revolution, including some impressive new parkour moves and a double assassination inside a house. We're going to see the French Revolution like we've never seen it before, and this trailer proves it.

We're particularly happy that this trailer highlights the single-player campaign portion of the game with no co-op modes to speak of. We're really excited for co-op Assassin's Creed, but we were afraid that we wouldn't see any single-player modes at all once the four-player modes were shown at E3. We're happy to be wrong.

Also interesting is the new focus on decapitated heads. Building off the end of the trailer shown at the Xbox E3 conference, we see a head shown to a crowd after an execution as well as a head on a pike carried by a revolutionary. Could severed heads become part of the Assassin's repretoire? Is Arno a more brutal Assassin than those who have come before him? We're not sure, but we're interested to see what happens.

Assassin's Creed: Unity launches Oct. 28 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the PC.
