Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante is not going to release music to the public any time soon. He's just going to let it simmer in his own space and build it up. It's not the first time he's done this. So, you're asking yourself "Who's gonna hear this stuff?" No one but John and his cats. And that's fine by him.

His recent foray into the Electronic genre made for perfect interview material with the magazine Electronic Beats. The article depicts a man who is more than happy to just noodle around on a synthesizer and stay out of the spotlight. He had two runs with the Chili Peppers: 1988-1992 and 1998-2009. He's set for life, financially. Interesting quote where he says the 1990s were a bit of a blur due to heavy drug use. It is amazing that he made it out of that drug haze alive. So many rock stars [including some from the RCHP camp] didn't..

John's been very prolific in his solo pursuits, releasing 11 solo records and 5 EP's. He joined RHCP during the Mother's Milk era and was only 18 years old. Growing up in the spotlight can sometimes make a man crave the opposite.  One of those "net worth" websites claims he has $23 million socked away from his "sock-era" Red Hot Chili Peppers tenure. I wouldn't have any trouble playing songs in my basement that no one will ever hear. Maybe a few rounds of disc golf and some surfing to round out each week. He just turned 45. Noodle away, John.

Here's a "Top 10 best solos" video from J.F. #1 is his best [cue to 14:50], the immaculate shred fest at the end of "Dani California."
