Lawrence Phillips used to wreak havoc on the football field at the University of Nebraska. He also went on to wreak havoc, well, elsewhere.

Phillips had multiple run-ins with the law during and after his time as a Cornhusker -- everything from vandalism and assault to domestic abuse. He eventually turned pro, but squandered his career with more legal troubles. He was sentenced to more than 30 years in prison for domestic abuse and driving his car into three teenagers in Los Angeles.

Things got worse this week.

Phillips is now suspected of killing his cellmate, Damion Seward. Seward, who was serving an 82-year sentence for murder, was strangled to death in his cell.

Sounds like Phillips better start a prison football team. He's going to be there for awhile. Maybe he can recruit Aaron Hernandez?
