An Iowa Spot Made the List of the Most Haunted Places in America
When it comes to fake haunted attractions, I’m a giant baby. When it comes to REAL haunted attractions, I’m even worse! Google Maps recently released a list of the 31 most haunted places in America, and one Iowa location made the list. I don’t know if I’m more excited or scared!
The Villisca Ax Murder House is the one Iowa spot that made the list. Located in Villisca, Iowa, the history of the house is a very creepy one. According to the Villisca website, on June 10, 1912, two adults and six children were found brutally murdered in their beds. To this day, the murders remain unsolved.
You can do day tours of the house, but if you’re feeling REALLY brave, you can actually schedule an overnight stay! Get more details on that HERE.
