[Original story] Cedar Rapids Police responded to the accident on Tower Terrace Road at about 3:39 Monday afternoon. The Gazette reports Cedar Rapids Public Safety Spokesman Greg Buelow said the accident was a single-vehicle rollover. It happened in the 4000 block of Tower Terrace Road, near the intersection with Miller Road NE.

The driver had been partially ejected from the vehicle they were driving, a 2008 Land Rover, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Their name hasn't been released, pending notification of relatives. The accident is still being investigated.

The accident happened at almost the same time as a three-vehicle crash last Thursday afternoon on County Home Road. That crash killed two teenagers.
