Later this month, Adventureland Park in Altoona will bring back their Phantom Fall Fest for another year of Halloween fun! The website reads:

"Thrill all day on your favorite rides, then fright all night with even more horror around every corner. Hang on to your friends through more fog, more freaks, more FX- starting with four haunted houses. Including all-new mayhem in mAlice In Wonderland. Brave your way through new scare zones like Deadsville and Hellbillies.  Then take your thrills to new heights with more Adventureland rides in the dark."

In addition to mAlice in Wonderland, the other three haunted houses are CarnEvil, Cornstalkers, and Spirits of the Swamp. The Fallen and Nordic Nightmare are the names of the other two new scare zones. You can get more details on all of them HERE.

During the day, Adventureland will be a lot less scary. Saturdays and Sundays between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., the park will offer kids activities like pumpkin painting, costume contests, a hay maze, and "scary-oke."

Before you visit Phantom Fall Fest at Adventureland, it's important to note that there IS a chaperone policy after 4 p.m. The website says that "guests aged 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult at least 21 years of age (with a valid ID) to enter the park after 4:00 p.m." There is also a bag policy that will be enforced. Parkgoers can each have one bag with a maximum size of 8” x 5” x 2.” And finally, the park is now cashless, so bring a debit or credit card with you for concessions and souvenirs. For a full list of park rules and policies, you can check out the official website HERE.

Phantom Fall Fest kicks off the weekend on September 23rd and runs through Sunday, October 28th. It's open Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. It's also open Friday the 20th and 27th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets start at $29.99 each and can be purchased online HERE.
