A Man and His Dog Save a Dying Hummingbird [Video]

About a year ago, Ed Gernon adopted a basically feral dog named Rex. Rex was pretty much a killing machine, attacking other animals and even killing cats. But then, something crazy happened.

While out on a walk, Rex came across a hummingbird on the ground that was basically dead. It had no feathers and was covered with ants. Instead of attacking the bird or eating it, Rex instead would not leave the it's side. So, they brought the injured bird home.

The bird is now known as "Hummer," and is doing great!
