A Long Overdue Trip to Penguin’s

This weekend, I’m getting together with a couple friends, one of whom is celebrating their 50^th birthday.  I think the plan is to hit up Granite City for dinner, then get some drinks and (hopefully) laughs at Penguin's Comedy Club.  I haven’t been to a show at Penguin’s for years, and I’m not sure why.  As a matter of fact, I believe my last trip to Penguin’s was after the flood when they were temporarily set up at the Clarion Hotel & Convention Center.  It’s long overdue.  Penguin’s is now located at 208 2^nd Avenue SE in Downtown Cedar Rapids.
